Under Perma No. 12 Tahun 2016, the offender is NOT REQUIRED to attend the sidang (court hearing). The judge decides the fine on the hearing day and the list of rulings is published online.

The hearing is held at the Pengadilan Negeri Kuala Kapuas (the jurisdiction where the violation occurred, not where the offender resides).
What if I want to file an objection against the alleged violation?
If filing an objection, the offender may attend in person on the day of the hearing to present the grounds of the objection to the judge.
