Can the 5-year STNK renewal be done at a mobile Samsat (Samsat Keliling)?
No. For the 5-year renewal you MUST bring the physical vehicle to the main Samsat office for the physical inspection, which takes a rubbing of the chassis and engine numbers.
What if the vehicle is located outside the regency where it was registered?
You can request an assisted physical inspection ('Cek Fisik Bantuan') at the Samsat office where the vehicle is located, and the inspection results are then sent to the Samsat office of origin.
How long does it take to print the new number plate?
The TNKB plate is printed at the Samsat workshop counter on the same day, once the assessment has been paid in full.
